Local Energy Rules is a biweekly podcast about monopoly power, energy democracy, and how communities can take charge to transform the energy system.

The podcast's title uses a play on words to have two different meanings. With this in mind, I designed the podcast logo according to the optical illusion where you can see either two faces in silhouette or the trophy shape they create in relief. Further, both the faces in silhouette and the trophy lend themselves to the podcast's content. Local Energy Rules episodes feature an interview between the host and a guest (two faces). They discuss the benefits of local, renewable energy projects and celebrate real-world examples (trophy).
